ok let's get something straight here...
just because i can recognize the movie you are imitating doesn't make it funny.
in fact after managing to sit through the trailer for Epic Movie I feel that it can only be described as "utterly painful"
and will someone please explain how Borat or Paris Hilton fall under "epic".
I'm guess this is a trend that is unfortunately here to stay.
From now on ever 6 months 1-7 writers from Scary Movie will get together for a weekend and crank out a referential movie based on whatever movies happened to just come out on Netflix and lump them all together with out a hint of humor or plot.
I can't wait for them to do one on documentaries. Just think a parody of Jesus Camp, Super Size Me, An Inconvenient Truth, Born into Brothels. It will be hilarious!!! I'm sure someone at a major studio already has the rights to it.

I never felt older than I did when I got dragged to see the simply excremental "Date Movie" .. the only joke I even laughed at was when a dude holds a boombox over his head Lloyd Dobler-style and blasts that '70s tune "Baby Come Back" ... Unfortunately, these movies are probably here to stay for a long time
