why is it amy grant day? cause i heard "takes a little time" on the radio on my way to work, that's why. and because her old videos are hilarious



ok so i love in this video for "EVERY HEARTBEAT" she's wearing what must be a men's xxxl button down blue shirt or a parachute. it's like saying to the world "i want to be a pop star but i want you to respect me for my music not my 90s good looks.
i also love the way that it looks like a video taped at glamour shots while she was getting some wallet size prints done and in the way that she's holding the flowers in several shots awkwardly against her face.
a lot of this looks like it could also have used for a salon selectives foaming mousse commercial

speaking of hair products i used to LOVE amy's big curly 80s/90s hair (i really wanted a perm as a kid)


and here the music video for "BABY BABY" that shows being in love means you can have fun doing anything together---even rolling an orange back and forth across a table to each other.



looking back i wonder if all of her songs are about god...you know cause she's since gone back to doing christain pop.
it's like when i learned that "what is life" by george harrison was about god and could never listen to it the same way again.
