Nostalgia Mondays...

remember Lisa Frank (you know, the folder lady)?

i did the other day.
and upon some research she apparently is not related to paul frank.

she does still maintain a website lisafrank.com
"the site girls love" (yes that's what it actually says).
the website is totally worth checking out if you want a good laugh.
it's full of character descriptions like this one.


here's my thinking: It is totally acceptable to own a Hello Kitty pencil box...even if you bought it because just love that you have one just like you did as a kid.
(this is not mine--i had the frog one in 4th grade)

And it is totally cool to still have in your possesion a retro Trapper Keeper.

(if you know where to track one down please let me know---i'm desperately searching for one for myself...i would be so much more organized)

BUT UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES IS IT OKAY TO OWN ANYTHING BY LISA FRANK AS AN ADULT (the only exception is if you are a guy and you found a lisa frank shirt at a salvation army)i feel like meeting an adult with any lisa frank gear would be a completely understandable deal breaker.
