what better way to kick off my blog then with a ribbon cutting ceremony...
of EPCOT from October 1, 1982.



as a kid I always liked EPCOT.
It made the future seem so exciting, plus none of the rides were scary.
This clip makes me nostalgic and sad.
I mean look at how hopeful we were for the future.
And what did we do with it? Paris Hilton.
I mean I guess things aren't so bad. If it wasn't for youtube or the internet i wouldn't have been able to enjoy this clip at all.
Plus it's the first time I got to see all the counties in the Around the World Pavilion.
I never made it all the way through as a kid.
When you grow up in Florida EPCOT stands for: Every Person Comes Out Tired.
lame? I guess but EPCOT is the Six Flags for nerds.
