Sometimes I wonder...

what it would be like if we still had to get our yearly portraits done like in grade school--
the portrait company would come every fall
you would line up by height (shortest to tallest)
get a plastic black comb
pose awkwardly
and get your wallet sized photos in 6-8 weeks.
also, every time you got a new member in your office take a "class photo"
and hope that you were the one who got to hold the sign

maybe there would even be a yearbook full of "action shots" of people at office events.
