So, when does it stop being weird to see people you know on national television? Just once, I want to see a clip of a friend of mine on Comedy Central or some late-night TV show and not spend a minute thinking, "wait, Natasha (or whoever)! What are you doing on the Tonight Show? That doesn't even make sense -- I know you!"
It's roughly a million times weirder than the reverse -- meeting people who are famous. That makes sense -- famous people exist, therefore somebody has to meet them. But your friends and acquaintances don't have to be on TV.
But sometimes they are.
And good for them.
i never thought of the reverse phenomena...
