the gift and the curse...

every decade we are blessed with innovative artists who give us not only a great pop song...
but a brand new dance to go with it.

the curse is that once all of america has learned, mastered, and done the dance collectively for an entire summer/spring/winter/fall we grow to hate the same artist who onced enriched our lives and banish them to a career future as a pop culture pundit or reference on an "I love this decade" vh-1 show.
Take for example: Freak Nasty? Where is he now?

Kid N Play? I have no idea (yes i know kid n play did not have a song called "the kid n play" to go with the dance which bears their name, but i just loved the clip of these kids doing it)
