that MC Escher had a younger brother, Dudley.

He spent most of his childhood in his brother's shadow. So his talents went unnoticed and unfostered by his parents.
He later went on to be one of the most prolific office carpet designers of his era.
Pioneering such designs as:

fiesta

and denim.

And although he achieved wide success in the corporate world, he never got what he most sought after : his parents approval.
